Some Pi Lams are doing great things, while others…
Knock, knock… who’s there? “The House That Leads!”
The undergrads leased and just moved into a new, posh mansion to host the best fraternity on campus. Take a tour of the Peter Jordan Residence at 1438 North Broad Street, built in 1870. You can take a live tour at the reception for the 75th Kovner Banquet on October 5th.
Joe Wells ’13 – I’ll take pledging for $400
One of Joe’s fondest memories at Pi Lam was creating and hosting pledge Jeopardy to test the knowledge of aspiring brothers. He said, “I was pleasantly surprised when I found out the tradition continues with the current brothers.” He said he’s still in touch with his classmates and recently celebrated his son’s second birthday with all of his “fraternity uncles.” #NotFourYears
Ajay Patel ’24 – Reporting live… from Kentucky?
Ajay experienced his first professional live reporting gig on @lex18news. Ironically, a double shooting… nothing he hasn’t seen before in North Philly. Before Ajay accepted the job in Lexington, he interned at NBC10, WPHL, and worked for the Phillies during their World Series run. Good luck making you mark on the air! Follow Ajay on Instagram.
Sean Harvey ’09 – Master of his (math) domain
A mathematics teacher in Downingtown, Sean recently completed his Master of Science in Data Science at Eastern University. Congrats!
Andrew Bollinger ’11 – One to watch
Andrew “A-Boll” Bollinger was recently named to the “2025 Best Lawyers in America: Ones to Watch List.” He works in commercial litigation for Saul Ewing in Chicago, and also provides gratis legal advice for the IHQ. He recently joined PI Lam brothers at Wrigley Park for a Chicago reunion.
Greg Young ’94 – Will tar your roof, technically
Congrats on a new position as Chief Technology Officer with Home Genius Exteriors.
Jake Atar ’11 – A wily Devil Dog
After languishing nine years in the civilian rat race, Jake charged full-time to the USMC where he served as a forward observer, rifle platoon commander, HQ and Hunter Killer Platoon Commander, and a “Coyote.” That’s a Marine who teaches, coaches and mentors Marine Corps units which pass through Combat Center training. Semper Fi!
Zach Heisey ’20 – Philly photophile
With a love for Philly and an eye for the lens, Zach started an Instragram account to share some unique views of the city. Check it out on Instagram.
Malcolm Kenyatta ’12 – DNC headliner
Did you see Pennsylvania Rep. Malcolm Kenyatta’s speech at the Democratic National Convention? Malcolm is a young, up-and-coming politician from North Philly who speaks his mind from the heart. This was Malcolm’s second invitation to speak at the DNC.
