Mark Levin ’86 – Retiring from the NFLPA to become a free agent

After 37 years with the NFL Players Association, Mark is officially saying goodbye to a job that has been “so much more than just work” to start a new chapter of his career as his own boss and contract negotiator at Pro Football Consulting.

Irv Gross ’65 – “Still kickin’”

After receiving our last brother update, Irv responded, “Thank you for the news. There are very few of my generation of Temple Pi Lam’s around, but I’m still kicking! I’m Chairman of a startup sport, entertainment and media company that we are putting together out here in LA. It is good to see PI Lam brothers thriving. Many of the fraternities of my day are long gone from campus, but Pi Lam as been a steady survivor for all these years. I am from two houses ago. It’s been a long road, but full of adventure.”

Bob Pennock ’11 – Hitched hipster

Cheers to Brother Pennock who was married in the most hipstery “tux” possible. 

Jim Kelsh ’75 – Mentoring the noobs

Snaps to Jim Kelsh ’75 for volunteering as a mentor and facilitator at the Pi Lambda Phi Leadership Institute. Jim was the perfect choice for the job. He recently retired from Comcast after years of facilitating corporate training.

Steve Smith ’91 and Ashton White ’94 – Rubbing elbows with Philly royalty

Steve and Ashton recently rubbed elbows with a man who could throw some elbows, Philly legend Sir Charles Barkley at a Salvation Army fundraiser at St. David’s Golf Course. Steve boasted, “I’ve actually played with him twice. He’s awesome!”

Evan Resh ’14 – 2x Girl Dad

Congrats to Evan Resh on becoming a two-time girl-dad. He said, “I’m a girl dad x2! Welcome to this side of the womb, Jovie James!”

Tommy Walsh ’20 – Movin’ on up

Congrats to Tommy Walsh who continues his climb up the corporate ladder saying. “I’m happy to share that I have been promoted to Associate Director, Market Development & Strategy at SK Pharmteco!”
